SHORT BIO

The current configuration of Anahita Skye’s band formed in Northern California where she relocated to from Los Angeles seeking refuge in the forests and hills of Marin County, CA after the pandemic. Her band consists of John Varn and James M. Harman, who fatefully connected over a shared love for Americana, outlaw country and 70s psychedelic bands such as Led Zeppelin and The Doors. There is a gravity and depth to their live shows, led by Anahita’s emotional depth and radiant presence joined by the awe-inspiring instrumental virtuosity of Varn and Harman. Each member of the trio is powerful in their own right, and the songs are memorable, timeless and brings an air nostalgia to the listener.
